Interim Commercial Manager with a £150M turnover marine defence business unit

Achievements:

As Interim Manager for a specialist defence engineering and services contractor, I reviewed the commercial position for two contracts on the UK Carrier Alliance project: pyrolysis systems and various specialists handling equipment.

I established the commercial position based on the contract, amendments and subsequent communications.

I negotiated with various parties to improve my client’s position by reallocating liability both commercially and technically.

Having defined and improved the commercial position as well as clarified the scope of delivery of my client, I handed over a now stable and transparent situation to others to manage as a conventional project.

The project was later closed out successfully.
